Nebraska Nepalese Society America organized Dahain Tihar Sanjh 2021 at DAV in Omaha Nebraska on Saturday, October 30th, 2021 amidst the presence of Lead Singer Yash Kumar & Guest Singer Juna Prasai. The event was a huge success when/where about 400 audience, NNS Founders, NNS Former Presidents, Advisors, Project Board Executives, guests, program sponsors, volunteers and NNS Board of Directors attended the event.
Mr. Krishna Kandel, President chaired the event, NNS Founders Ani Shrestha & Gyanendra Bhandari released NNS Annual Newsletter as Chief Guests. Our President Advisor Yadu Sapkota chief edited the newsletter. There were several series of program activities including Children's quiz, dances, songs and delicious food.
Our Board of Director Dr. Subash Baniya coordinated flu shot clinic during the event when 34 participants registered and benefited with the flu shot service from Nebraska Nepalese Society. Thank you UNMC and Dr. Baniya for providing this service to the public.
Also NNS Golf tournament winners were awarded with the trophhies by our President, Krishna Kandel. Our Founder Gyanendra Bhandari bagged the 1st place, Our Advisor Jiban Giri along with PJ Basnet the 2nd place and our Project Board Executive Ramesh Adhikari did the 3rd place. Congratulations to all the winners!!!
Our Board of Director Navin Prakash Adhikari moderated the event and NNS President Krishna Kandel awarded all the program sponsors, artists and Board of Directors with Tokens of Appreciations!!!
