The Nebraska Nepalese Society (NNS) successfully hosted a special Maha Shivaratri Puja, bringing together the local community for a day of spiritual reflection and cultural celebration.

The event, marked by deep devotion and traditional rituals, was presided over by Guru Laxman Dhakal, who conducted the puja with great reverence and adherence to Vedic traditions. The atmosphere was further heightened by soul-stirring Bhajan-Kirtan performances that filled the venue with spiritual energy.

A Message of Gratitude from the President

In the wake of the event’s success, NNS President Sushil Kumar Shrestha expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the community:

"The success of this program was made possible by the collective dedication of our volunteers, devotees, and donors. We are deeply grateful to the NNS founders, advisors, and both past and present board members for their unwavering support."

  • Spiritual Leadership: A special thanks to Guru Laxman Dhakal for leading the ceremonies with dignity and grace.

  • Musical Devotion: Recognition to the Bhajan-Kirtan groups whose performances made the event truly vibrant and meditative.
